Create a Hollow Circle From a Diamond Coin Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Very Easy
In our first puzzle, we start with two rows of dimes containing three dimes each. The object of this puzzle is to create a circle of dimes. You are allowed to move
two coins to accomplish this task.
To move a coin simply click on it and drag it to the new position and release the mouse button to drop it. You can press the 'Start Over' button if you get stuck.
This puzzle is quite easy and should be considered a warm-up puzzle for the more difficult ones that follow.
Turn the Goblet Upside Down Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Easy
In our next puzzle we start with a goblet. In this coin puzzle you need to turn the goblet upside down by moving
two coins. This puzzle is a little bit trickier but still fairly easy.
To move a coin simply click on it and drag it to the new position and release the mouse button to drop it. Once again, if you get stuck you can press the 'Start Over' button.
Make a Square From a Triangle Coin Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Easy to Medium
In our next puzzle things begin to get a little bit trickier. We start with a triangle made from nine dimes. Our goal is to create a square by moving the fewest amount of dimes possible. There are no restrictions on the amount of moves you can make.
Revealing the minimum amount of moves needed may help solve the puzzle, so we won't reveal that here. To move a coin simply click on it and drag it to the new position and release the mouse button to drop it.
You can press the 'Start Over' button to reset back to the triangle.
Create Ten Rows From Eight Rows Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Medium to Hard
Now things begin to get more difficult. The layout in this coin puzzle appears very simple at first glance. Close study will reveal that there are eight rows of three dimes each.
To complete this puzzle, try to create ten rows of three dimes each in as few moves as possible. Believe it or not it can actually be done quite easily. We will not reveal the amount of moves needed as is may help in solving the puzzle.
To move a coin simply click on it and drag it to the new position and release the mouse button to drop it. You can press the 'Start Over' button to start again from scratch.
Swap the Two Pennies and the Two Dimes Coin Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Hard
We have now moved into the hard puzzles. These puzzles involve sliding coins into position or in some cases jumping over single coins.
In our first puzzle we need to swap the positions of the pennies and the dimes. This is rather tricky indeed.
There are two types of moves allowed in this puzzle. The first move involves sliding a coin left or right into the empty space next to it.
If there is no empty space next to the coin, it can still be moved by jumping over one single coin to an empty space. A coin cannot jump over two or more coins. To move a coin simply click on it.
To start the game over, click on the 'Start Over' button. This puzzle can be completed in
eight moves.
Swap the Dime and the Nickel Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Very Hard
This coin puzzle is more complex and rather difficult. However, the object is rather simple. All you need to do is swap the position of the nickel and the dime. The position of the pennies do not matter.
This puzzle can be solved in
17 moves. Coins can only be slid into an empty space. There is no jumping in this puzzle. To move a coin simply click on it. Click the 'Start Over' button to try again.
Swap the Three Pennies and the Three Dimes Coin Puzzle
Difficulty Level: Extremely Hard
Now for the hardest coin puzzle of them all. The goal of this puzzle is to swap the positions of the pennies and the dimes. To accomplish this task the coins can be moved in two ways. The first way is to simply slide a coin into an empty space.
The second way to move a coin is to jump one single coin into an empty space. Only one coin can be jumped at a time. Simply click on the coin to move it.
Pennies can only be moved to the right and dimes can only be moved to the left. If you get blocked, you can press the 'Start Over' button at any time. This puzzle can be completed in
15 coin moves.
